Today in western civ we came in and took new notes on a new powerpoint called Charlemge Unites Germatic Kingdoms. After we finished a couple slides on that we went into the book and answered the question from the next chapter.

Notes:

  • Germatic kingdom that succeeded the Roman Empire were reunited under Charemgne's empire
  • Spread Christian Civilization throughout Northern Europe, which is where some of (but not all of it) us came from
  • Middle Ages= medieval period
  • Ad 476- Ad 1453
  • End of Roman Empire the conquest of Constantinople by the turks
